Jan Derr designs and builds original and custom fine interiors, cabinetry and furniture in a private studio in Asheville, North Carolina. With his wife and partner, Jamie Addis, they have established a studio that is the source of choice for many homeowners, architects, designers, restaurants, schools, public spaces and more in Asheville, and among a growing list throughout the southeast. Their current projects in 2008 include thirty interior and exterior doors for a French chateau-style private home in Virginia, and the kitchen island and mantle in the Ramble Handmade Show House in Biltmore Farms. In the previous three years they completed five restaurant interiors in Asheville and proudly invite you to visit, The Lobster Trap, Carmel’s, Modesto, Chorizzo, and Vigne.
